After Elena Black's parents Regulus and Oriona were killed trying to destroy one of Lord Voldemort's horcruxes. Elena was supposed to be sent to live with Sirius Black but communications were disconnected so she ended up in the wrong hands of two deatheaters named Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. Her step-brother, Draco always teased her and when she arrives on her first day of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, her family is not pleased with the house she is sorted into.
