'I looked up to wipe my face from the uncontrollable tears that were stinging my eyes, to see that ‘monster’ standing there, looking at me, in the dead centre of the doorway. His back was arched over; he had a smirk gradually forming on his blood dripping mouth, as if he thought he had already won the game, as if it were too easy for him.
“Your time is up… you look like the most fun of all to kill… don’t worry, I’ll make it last long and you will feel… everything.” He laughed, as he emphasized the word everything.'
Last laugh will take you into the depths of possibly my greatest fear, clowns. This story is about a 16 year old girl named Sophie, her friends that she adores and none other than a clown that plans to take away everything that she holds most dear. Sophie and her friends find themselves going through hell and back with something... someone, lurking around every corner. How do you deal with something that is everywhere and nowhere? Sophie's determined to get her friends out safely, but in the end... Who gets the last laugh...?
