"Hello," said the man with a gentle whisper and chilling smile. I grew worried. Who was this man? "Who are you?" I asked the mysterious stranger. "That's why I'm hiding in a mask," he replied "So you don't know who I am."
In my city you might meet a superhero... But rarely will you meet a villain face to face. Unfortunately, I've met a hero twice and both times it was the same sidekick of Green Serpent: Goggle Kid. Yeah, he's pretty lame, and what's even lamer is that I've never met a real superhero like Golden Dream, Blue Shadow, or as mentioned before, Green Serpent. I met a villain. This villain doesn't have a name, he only goes after heroes for no reason, and he seems to have an interest in me. Recently, heroes in Red Dale, my city, have been taken down one by one by this villain. Since he doesn't call himself anything, I just call him Hidden Mask, or Mask for short. Well, let's hope him and I can be friends, and I don't have to be a target. Will he kill me? What are his plans? All I know is that he's in that mask, and he's hiding in it.

SEQUEL TO LOVING A VILLAIN There were sparks when we met, but not the kind that you would think. One look at him quite literally knocked me out. Seriously. I was unconscious. He was not some shining hero on a white horse, who swooped in and saved the day. No he put the Hero's head through a wall and laughed. Overall, he and I are a complete shit show. Complete. Shit show. He isn't nice. Or kind. Or hell, even legally decent. And he sure as hell isn't sane. Through all his shitty qualities, the villainous attitude, and even all the multiple attempts on my life. I fell for the villain of the century. My damn luck. Blue Doom. But did we get the semi-happy ending? Or at least the one you're suppose to get when you end up with the villain of the story. But no. I get the short stick. He's nothing I ever imagined, but everything I'll ever need. I already fell in love with the villain, now its time for me to save his crazy ass.Complete

"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. His face is leveled to mine and I can see tiny droplets of water on his face and lips as he draws closer to me, my anticipation is crazy as he moves millimeter by millimeter. I roll my eyes and move my head away. "Don't do this." He acknowledges what I said but doesn't act on it. He takes his hand and moves it to my jawline, moving my head to him. This causes me to become frantic. I can't get messed over. "Karan, we literally just had this conversation. This isn't fair to me, please don't." His facial features soften completely at my tone and he looks at me genuinely. "I would never." With that he kisses me and my stomach explodes in butterflies, turning over. He moves his hands from the hood of his car to the side of my waist. "That wasn't fake, Tejasswi", his eyes intent on mine against the dark drizzling sky. I can't stop looking at him. She's a soloist who doesn't like help. Especially with a huge mission like this. Will the mission fall through? Or would she need a partner more than ever?Complete

I live in a pretty screwed up world. I mean, we all do, but mine's a little more screwed up than your average American city. First off, I have that cliché sort of crush on my best friend. The second part of that cliché is that he's interested in every other girl but me. Second, we have superheroes. A lot of them. Flying everywhere like annoying insects, teleporting like it doesn't scare the crap out of the rest of us, defeating bad guys like they're the new Mr. Incredible. The whole works. Why is there always an abundance of hero's stories, or stories of the villain being put to ruin, with little to no thought of the villain himself? Why are villains called villains? Is anyone who opposes the hero a villain? That's what it seems to be. If that's the case, then I am indeed a villain. What if the villain wants to save the day? Did you ever stop and wonder if he has the pressure of saving the world, his world, on his shoulders? What if the villain was named a villain without doing anything wrong? What if the villain, is not a villain at all, but a victim? Everyone sees me as a haunting shadow, as a living nightmare. To the outside world, I am a vengeful vigilante.
