"Hello," said the man with a gentle whisper and chilling smile. I grew worried. Who was this man? "Who are you?" I asked the mysterious stranger. "That's why I'm hiding in a mask," he replied "So you don't know who I am."
In my city you might meet a superhero... But rarely will you meet a villain face to face. Unfortunately, I've met a hero twice and both times it was the same sidekick of Green Serpent: Goggle Kid. Yeah, he's pretty lame, and what's even lamer is that I've never met a real superhero like Golden Dream, Blue Shadow, or as mentioned before, Green Serpent. I met a villain. This villain doesn't have a name, he only goes after heroes for no reason, and he seems to have an interest in me. Recently, heroes in Red Dale, my city, have been taken down one by one by this villain. Since he doesn't call himself anything, I just call him Hidden Mask, or Mask for short. Well, let's hope him and I can be friends, and I don't have to be a target. Will he kill me? What are his plans? All I know is that he's in that mask, and he's hiding in it.

SEQUEL TO LOVING A VILLAIN There were sparks when we met, but not the kind that you would think. One look at him quite literally knocked me out. Seriously. I was unconscious. "Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. "Killjoys, make some noise!" I've always expected a life that was pampered and spoiled, but I've never really fit in much despite it. Inheritance to my parent's rich company (companies, but I'd not like to brag) was something I've known of ever since I was young; there was no need to "fit in" or "pay attention." His face is leveled to mine and I can see tiny droplets of water on his face and lips as he draws closer to me, my anticipation is crazy as he moves millimeter by millimeter. I roll my eyes and move my head away. "Don't do this." He acknowledges what I said but doesn't act on it. He takes his hand and moves it to my jawline, moving my head to him. This causes me to become frantic. I can't get messed over. "Karan, we literally just had this conversation. This isn't fair to me, please don't." His facial features soften completely at my tone and he looks at me genuinely. "I would never." With that he kisses me and my stomach explodes in butterflies, turning over. He moves his hands from the hood of his car to the side of my waist. "That wasn't fake, Tejasswi", his eyes intent on mine against the dark drizzling sky. I can't stop looking at him.
