"How do you know I'd want to spend more time with you? You're rude, arrogant, and you've been breathing in the salt air for far too long!" She told me. Ouch. That one hurt.

"Because it seems you struggle staying away from my surf shop anyways." I told her nonchalantly. "Face it New York, you want me. You don't care about that boy you have in the city because he doesn't make you feel like I do. No one ever had and I doubt anyone will.

Colby Thomas loved summer. I mean why wouldn't he when he lived in paradise? The unspoken rules of Crystal Island were keep island secrets a secret and never fall in love with someone from out of town. Colby had never had a problem following them until Rose Beckett came to the island for the summer.

Her dark hair matched her dark eyes, and her intensity drove Colby mad. She was a total snob who came with a ton of mommy-daddy issues, and Colby didn't have time for that. But he couldn't find it within him to leave her alone. The only problem was that she was from New York, and that made her someone from out of town.

[COMPLETE] Sorry this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content. "You don't really like to open up, do you?" The words startle me, seemingly jagged and impure in contrast to the light and beautiful atmosphere we were in. "I didn't say that." Asher snorted, "You didn't have to." I was quiet for a moment, looking out to the beach and resting my cheek on my knee. "It- It's not that I don't like to," I struggled to find the words good enough to explain. "I just think, maybe, I don't know how to anymore." Asher stares at me for a moment, eyes filled with an emotion that I can't put my finger on. I turn to face him properly, almost gasping when he appears much closer than I remembered. Before I can turn the moment into a joke, he speaks. "Well, if you ever want to learn again, I'll always be right here, Willa. I'm always right here." * Willa Montgomery didn't expect to be uprooted for her last summer before college, but two weeks in, here she is: Santa Monica, California. Willa hasn't had the best life as of recent, and with the impending damage of her parents messy divorce getting harder and harder to avoid, her mom decides the best place for her to be is anywhere but home. Enter Sylvia Edwards, Willa's mother's best friend since middle school, and Willa's godmother. Sylvia is more than glad to host Willa for the entire summer, opening up her beautiful home to her immediately. And with that beautiful home comes the beautiful Asher Edwards, and a whole bunch of memories Willa wasn't even aware she had. Living in a house with Asher, the sweetest yet most persistent guy to exist is both heartwarming and dangerous all at once, because soon enough, the barriers Willa spent years building around her fragile heart are coming down- and fast. Willa had never realized how frozen she was until Asher started to melt her ice. With eyes like oceans, a smile like honey and a touch like heaven. cover by @stylesoftimothee

**"The sun beats down on the warm sand as Sienna, an artistic and kind-hearted girl, finds herself drawn to the beach every day, sketching the beauty of the waves that never seem to stop coming. She didn't expect to meet someone like Liam, a free-spirited surfer whose carefree attitude and love for the ocean mirrors her own yearning for something more than the everyday. Their connection is instant, a spark that lights up the long summer days. But as the days drift by, the reality of their summer fling begins to settle in. Liam is everything she's dreamed of in the moment-wild, adventurous, and impossibly charming-but Sienna knows the summer will end, and with it, the inevitable goodbye. The beach, with all its beauty, becomes a symbol of the fleeting nature of their love. As the days grow hotter, so do the tensions. Noah, Liam's best friend, begins to show an interest in Sienna that neither she nor Liam expected, leading to an unspoken rivalry that threatens the bond they've only just started to build. Meanwhile, Chloe, Liam's ex, reappears, and with her return come rumors and complications that stir doubt in Sienna's heart. Ava, Sienna's protective best friend, warns her that summer loves are rarely meant to last, but Sienna can't ignore the pull between her and Liam. The deeper they fall into their shared moments-surfing, laughing, stealing kisses in the sand-the more they realize how much they mean to each other. But can something this intense survive the inevitable end of summer, or will the drama and the complexity of their emotions be too much to hold on to? With every wave, every sunset, every stolen moment, they are left wondering: will their love survive when the season changes, or will they be swept away by the tide of summer's inevitable end?"**

I hated Blue for almost 10 years. It took me 72 hours to fall in love with her. Even though it might seem unusual for a 17 year old, I have a habit of timing things. In 6th grade it took me 2 hours to stand on the boogie board without falling on the water. Almost 5 days to read 'Dracula' in freshman year and 7 days to gather courage and ask a girl called Mary to go out with me. 12 minutes to set up an Instagram account and half an hour to organize my room every time we come to Cousins. Honestly, I don't know why I do it. To make my dad's watch or maybe to get a sense of control. Regardless of the motive, I've done it since I was a kid. The numbers make sense, I was afraid of falling so it took me a while to learn to stand confidently on the board, afraid of being rejected so it took me a whole week to ask a girl out. But I can't, for the love of my sanity, explain what happened this past week. Ellie is someone I never liked, since the day she compared me to Sid, from the Ice Age, things between us have been a war zone. I can't help it, she gets under my skin like no one else ever did. So I'd like to understand why, while we were stuck together during a storm, it took me just 72 hours to fall in love with her. -- 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' fanfiction. Ellie is my OC and belongs to me but anything associated with TSITP doesn't. Mature themes such as death, abandonment trauma, depression, and sickness are explored. Proceed with caution.

UNEDITED! Will edit soon :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "What's going to happen?" I uttered, knowing he probably didn't hear me. "What do you mean? Happen to what?" he asked, running his hand through my hair and caressing my cheek sweetly. "To us?" I asked, feeling scared about the way he was going to respond. "What's going to happen?" I repeated my question but this time my voice gave away how worried I was. A single tear dropped onto Evan's palm and suddenly he had swept me up into his arms. I instinctively curled into a ball and hugged him tight, pressing my cheek against his chest and listening to his heart. "Nothing's going to happen Maria. I promise. I love you, so much. Don't worry," he pleaded rocking us back and forth slightly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I ruined this moment," was all I could say as silent tears made their way down my cheeks and onto his shirt. "Shhh, it's alright. I don't know how it will all work out, but we will be together, forever. I promise," he assured me, pressing a kiss to my temple. I sniffled and wiped my eyes as I looked up at Evan. He was watching me with concerned, loving eyes and for some unknown reason that look only made me start crying again. This time however I was happy. I was crying with joy because I knew I had someone who I could rely on; someone who would never leave me, someone who would be by my side forever, someone who would stay, stay with me and stay for me, someone who would stay true to me and stay forever in my heart. ~~~~~~~ Maria and Evan meet quite unexpectedly and form a relationship that is stronger than either of them could imagine. They share countless sweet moments throughout the summer, but when it comes down to it, Evan's home is 1,007 miles away from Maria. What happens at the end of the summer? Will Evan stay?
