Ariel is an African American girl . Shes 16 and moves to Korea to stay with her grandmothers 19 year old daughter after her grandmother dies . When finally Ariel gets there ,the first thing she notices is the stares but soon gets over it after realizing shes a black foreigner in Korea , a place full of pale people . Who many haven't seen a real black person in there life .
For her birthday Aja (grandmothers daughter) takes her to a Seventeen meet a greet where they befriend her . After a while feelings start to swarm and secrets unravel and its just one big mess . How will she survive will she drown in a swarm of bees or will she swim with the dolphins ?
