The sun and moon are prophesied to live on the Earth, along with living in the sky to light up the world. Their goal is to kill the other while they are both in human form, and their reward would be to shape the world as they see fit. However, before they get to, a so called "hero" locks them both away in order to keep peace on Earth. After a few days pass, the world turns pitch black and lifeless, only leaving the humans behind, with the sun and moon missing. Blinded by why he believes is right,, the hero denies revealing their location. As the sun and moon are both locked together, they see that they actually have plenty in common, deciding not to kill each other. Back on the surface, many years have passed, and the world turns cold and bleak, just like its people. A single boy, still filled with warmth and hope wanders far enough to find a house illuminating with light, the place where the sun and moon were hidden. Hearing of their situation, he goes to ask for their freedom, but the hero does not listen to his request. Instead, he places a bounty on his head, and it's up to the boy to bring balance to the world again without getting murdered.
