"Get them!" I dared to look over my shoulder to see how close they were to me. I saw them gaining on me and I ran as fast as I could through the thick brush. I wish I had my leather cuffs on right now but I gave them to my little brother so he wouldn't hurt his wrists. As I ran I hoped that my little plan for us to separate had worked and that he hid when he was far enough away. And that the boys chasing us had split up which would give Henry and I a better chance at getting away. When I got far enough away I found the tallest tree I could and climbed up. I climbed just in time but then I heard him. "Hello love." Melanie and Henry Mills are always the target of many villainous plans due to who they are related to. Melanie made a blood promise to her little brother when she was 10 and him 5 that she would always protect him no matter what. And she would make that stand true now more than ever. In Neverland. A girl doomed before her own birth to be violently wanted by every person in her entire world, and then imprisoned for her entire life starting at age 5, of course wants nothing more than to escape. His Shadow is called to her, and takes her to Neverland, where she gets her freedom. And when you give an evil boy an innocent girl, opposites attract. I love the TV series, but I think Peter Pan should get to love somebody, so here's who and here's how they fell in love, as I believe it should go. In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it. Fern Hood, the daughter of Robin Hood and Maid Marian, is the only Lost Girl on the island. Brought by Pan's shadow shortly after the death of her father. The second her feet touched the soil of Neverland's island Fern learned things about herself she hadn't known before, from discovering she has powers, to finding her True Love, the "demon" himself, Peter Pan.
