Young Cassie Philips has been abused by her mother everyday from the day that her father and the rest of her pack died in a raid from rouges. Cassie and her mother were the only survivors.
Cassie decides to run away from home to a town in California. She finds a friend willing to let her stay with her family and go to the same school. Something about this school seems awkward. Will she open up to someone about her being abused or will it remain a mystery? Most importantly, will anyone find out her being a werewolf? Cassie hasn't been in her werewolf form for so long. Will it be enough for others not to notice?
