Samantha McGill lives on Scarler Island, an island as wild as her untamed spirit. This island is a place where the most famous 'Hunting Season' takes place stretching from September to November.
People from allover the world come to watch and compete in the hunt, and as much as Sam hates it, she finds herself caught up in the event.
Kian McEwen is a three time champion in the Hunt, much to his dislike. He finds himself being forced into another hunt or his future is at stake as losing means leaving the island, and leaving the island is unbearable.
As the Hunting Season begins, Kian and Sam find themselves unwillingly mixed up in the hunt and with each other. One of them will win, one of them won't and either way, one will leave the island, an unbearable fate for both of them.
