All Jesse ever wanted was to be loved by her father, but he harbours a strong disdain towards her. She was considered bad luck after her mother died from an illness that she caught after giving birth to her. When he plans to assassinate her, she escapes from her castle in order to seek asylum. However, she may not be finding the sanctuary she hopes for in the wilderness of the outside world.
After all, her existence is a crime, and such a crime be punishable by death. Can she hope to avoid such a fate, or is there no possible way to escape?
Later chapters contain (very) dark, suggestive themes/psychological horror, graphic violence and gore. Read at your own risk.

My first ever MC:SM fan fiction. I originally posted this story on my DeviantART page, so I decided to share this on my Wattpad page. As my first MC:SM story, I figured I should share it here on Wattpad. Plot: Jesse suddenly starts having strange visions. She feels that they may be tied to her past, but the only thing is that she doesn't know about her past. All she knows is that she grew up in an orphanage before making her tree house, meeting her friends, and going on her adventures. Jesse wants to know about her past and why she was left at the orphanage, but she finds herself being hunted down by a group of bandits, who are working for someone who's after her. However, they're not after Jesse because she's the leader of the New Order of the Stone. They're after her for another reason, but what? That's when Jesse and the gang meet someone who might be able to help them. And strangely, his name is also Jesse...
