Tori Kelly was very ignorant to the situations taking place back in her home town where her parents lived. She didn't know that on one of her parents boating trip adventures, something so terrible had happend. She was living in Budapest, and when she didn't hear from her parents for five months, she thought nothing of it. It was the same thing since she was a kid. Her parents would leave on these trips for weeks. But then when her and Dixie became adults, they were able to completely pursue their passion for the ocean, and traveling through it. So when her parents boat was discovered at the bottom of the ocean, she didn't even hear about it. That was until three weeks after they were considered dead, and her sister, Dixie called her. Tori didn't want to go back to California, even for the goodbye ceremony. She fully planned on leaving Calli that week too, until things started tying her back down to her home town, and her past came back to haunt her.
