"I want you to guard me, be my bodyguard," he smiled slyly. Annabelle Cheval is 18 years old with a job as a security guard at EDwardian Industries, a company that works for a higher power. Although she doesn't know much about the laboratory, she loves working there, despite the frugal efforts of the other guards that want to take her down. But she has Dan, the only guard that doesn't underestimate her, and Cecilia, a child she picked up off the streets and took under her wing. She was happy with her life, that was, until she met Jake. Jake Edwards is the CEO of EDwardian Industries and when he suddenly decides to work on a project late at night, which so happened to be when Annabelle was working, he took interest in her. Annabelle slowly notices weird things about Jake, how he always sleeps during the day and can sense something from far away.
