Elena finally plucked up the courage to move away from her home town. She was used to moving from place to place as her family was never stable. But now she is old enough, she's free to do as she pleases. Moving to London was the biggest step of her life, but she is more alone than ever. However her welcoming neighbours always cheer her up. But only her few days in London she sees the darkness behind London's walls.
The cost of an unknown city can lead her to become lost. One night a wrong turn down and alleyway was her worst and wonderful mistake...

"I-uh, I was lost I thought this was a short cut..." I was panicked, everything was different for me but for a moment in his embrace I felt a sense of home. But for a moment I recognised him. It was, uh I knew him. He lives opposite me. The reality hit hard it was Dan.
"It's okay, just breathe. This is London you are going to get those vile people." Dan said smoothly. Once I calmed down, I looked up at him.
"Dan?" I asked, he noticed me. He must have knew who I was from the moment he saved me.
"Hmm, Elena don't worry you're safe now. Let's get you back home."His soft tone and soft stare, made me so oblivious to everything around me. I was totally and utterly lost in Dan.
