It is with great excitement and delight that we welcome you back to Versification 2026! With new ideas, structure and challenges, we are excited to see what this year holds!! Versification is a contest where we challenge the poet to write a new entry for every day of April. So yes-another royal novel on Wattpad. But not that kind. The male lead is a king, but there's no mafia nonsense here. He's not going to shoot every man who looks at his wife. He understands that a woman can have male friends, that a handshake isn't a threat, and that not every man who speaks to the female lead is evil. Mostly because he knows something very important. She doesn't need saving. She is more than capable of breaking bones if someone touches her inappropriately, poking eyes if someone looks at her the wrong way, and knocking out teeth if someone dares to disrespect her. "Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Adams." My body stiffened. Slowly I turned around just to see Mr. Parker standing in front of me with hands in his trouser pockets. I bit my lip.
