Nora Howards is a quiet, shy, and sensitive person who wished she is like any other girls who isn't shy and quiet. The only person who cares about her is her childhood friend Ian Shroerger. Their friendship took them to the next level and they both found out that they are mates, soulmates. She loved him and he loved her for who she is and wanted her to be like him, as a werewolf. She agreed and he changed her. Then one day, a pack of werewolves that Nora haven't seen before wanted war because of what Ian's father did long time ago. Ian tried to calm the leader, who just changed into human so he can talk, but the leader-or alpha- didn't agree to what Ian told him. The alpha became pissed and changed to his wolf form and was about to attack, but Nora blocked him before Ian get hurt. Ian, horrified, pushed the Alpha off of her and saw two long deep scratches on the side of her face. They took her to the hospital and sewed her up. Few days later, she felt a bit better, but what troubled her was Ian. He's been avoiding her for some reason. When he did show up, he said he was leaving her. She was hurt and tried to persuade him to stay with her. But all he did was shaked his head and left. What can Nora do if her life is nothing but pain? How can she pick herself up when the pain is still there? How can she live with herself if Ian isn't there right beside her?

This is book one of the series. Jordan shifts slightly in my lap so she can see my face. "Liam, I want you to mark me." She bluntly states and exposes her neck to me, so I can mark her. A wave of confusion comes over me and I tilt my head looking at her. "Are you sure that is what you want?" I look at her neck where my mark should be and feel my canines extending. Jordan simply smiles and nods her head. I readjust our bodies, so she is underneath me. I lean down and softly kiss her lips. The kiss burns my lips and not in the normal mate bond way. I pull away and rub my lips trying to get the sensation to go away. Jordan stares at me with her eyes squinted. I look her over and see nothing short of the perfect mate I am used to, however, something isn't right. Jordan pulls me down closer to her and starts leaving little kisses all over my body. Every place her lips touch immediately burns. I push her away and move towards the bottom of the bed. She sits up and moves to come closer to me. I move away again. "Liam, don't you want to mark me? Don't you want this?" Jordan looks at me pouting. This is when I realize what is going on. I smile and move to her. "Of course, I want to my queen," I coo at her and grab her wrists and pin them behind her head. My hands are burning from touching her, but I fight through it. I start leaving kisses all along her neck and pause where my canines are supposed to sink into her neck. Jordan lets out a throaty moan and I can smell her arousal. I kiss up and towards the middle of her throat. My canines extend and I bite into her throat and rip it out. Her eyes fill with pain and she struggles before the life is finally drained out of her. I drop the muscle and flesh from my mouth and let out a howl of victory.Complete

I of course would suggest you read it and pause at the point I marked to read "Markie" but the choice is yours. Story excerpt "Come on Ryan leave me alone!" A boy yells. "You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "Why Nora? Why did you leave?" He asked. "Why did you disappear with no goodbye or see you later, or even a note explaining everything or even a phone call from you once you got to where you left to?" I didn't answer right away. I didn't know how to explain this to him, and having his new friends around made it all the harder. I knew I had to think carefully about my answer, so I wouldn't give too much away. Just like some things were better left unsaid, there were also those things that could only be said at the right moment, so as not to ruin everything. I had to choose my words carefully and be sure to not get angry like he was trying to make me. I hate to admit it, but he still knew me better than I knew myself. And that meant that he knew that if he angered me enough, everything I was hiding would come spilling out. And that...that couldn't happen.
