Deciding that she should leave her Dad and Sarah to their own romantic heaven in Alaska, Estrella moved back to her birthplace, Lake Havasu, to live with her mother instead during the summer break. Lake Havasu is extremely different from Alaska -- especially the weather. People in Lake Havasu knew each other, since there's only one high school in the vicinity. Estrella likes to keep herself busy by reading her novels and maybe she would find a part-time job. She walks to the beach with her childhood friend, Jake, and finds a newly opened donut shop called Sweet Munchies. Lucky Estrella, she got the job immediately as a waitress. She then meets up the best friend that she thought she lost -- Julie. Julie asks Estrella how she's coping in Lake Havasu, and she tells Julie about her new part-time job at Sweet Munchies. "Sweet Munchies? As in the newly opened donut shop?" Julie asked. "Yeah." I replied. There is only one donut shop near here, anyways. Julie squeals. "You're going to work with Casper?" she grabs my arm and waits impatiently for my answer. "I don't know any Casper." I replied. "Are you serious? He's the hottest guy in school." Julie said, daydreaming. "Does everyone knows that he's working there?" I asked. It was definitely a rhetorical question. Since Julie said Casper's the hottest guy and seeing that there's only one high school around...Sweet Munchies is going to be so crowded whenever Casper's working, whoever he is anyways. The future has always been a dozen question marks for Estrella. She has no idea what kind of a person does she want to become in the future, and what should she study to become the person she wants to be? Will the new addition of Jake, Julie and probably Casper in her life in Lake Havasu hinder her from finding what she wants or help her?
