Jade Smith is an unexceptional kid. Average grades, non existent talents. Her father left her and her mother, making Jade's mom, the once beautiful Jamie Smith, an acaholic who can barely support her only child. The only thing she's considers herself good at is mouthing off to her teachers. Other than that, she feels invisible. 

Jade's life is quickly turned upside down when a monster attacks her. She is whisked away to a camp for Demigods, where she is sucked in to a prophecy she never wanted to be a part of.
