Katniss returns to 12 after assassinating President Coin. When Peeta returns, they reconnect. This story is my take on what happens between the last chapter of Mockingjay and the Epilogue.
The first part is what I'm considering the prologue. It contains portions of text from Mockingjay in it. I've changed some things to fit my storyline better. The second part will be Chapter 1 and it will begin with Peeta and Katniss's life after Peeta returns to twelve.

This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Hijacked (An Everlark Fanfic) (Plot twist/After Mockingjay story)
This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about. Almost. Peeta is still alive, but also still hijacked. Will Katniss find a way to cure Peeta, and get him to come back to her? And how does their future, after the Rebellion, look? This was my first story and it has lots and lots of spelling mistakes so read at your own risk.
