Henry Parker and his family are perfectly happy, but their peace is shattered by the rise of a dangerous new leader, Brentley Haverstock. Henry's three sons, Frank, Tyrone, and Terrance, flock to join the government, leaving him and his wife and daughter Shannon behind. Martin Sawyer is a friend of the Parkers, but doesn't support Haverstock's ideas.
