At the start of third year, Jackson Briar had yet to be found after his father was murdered. Two weeks before Christmas break, Charlie Weasley finds the missing boy reorganizing his dorm room.
"Where'd you go, Briar?" Charlie asked, spinning a clay dragon between his fingers.
"Dragons," I said. "Fought them off, one by one."
