"Follow me Kai" he rasped. His voice was so calming yet dangerous. It sounded like the calmness in the ocean before a tsunami. "You wont regret it I promise" he gestured towards the opening of the mansion. I looked at him, straight in his eyes hoping to find some sought of honesty, love, humanity, but I saw none. Every part of me wanted to believe him. But after what he did, that hideous crime, I didn't feel like I could trust him. I looked into the dark opening and then back at him. His body was huge in comparison to mine, empowering I would say. Even if I declined his request I would be forced in. But I wont give in to him, I must not show weakness.
With that thought in mind I made a run for it. Literally 0.6 seconds into trying to escape I felt a tight grip on my arm. At that point I knew I was done. I pushed, scratched at his face.
I even screaming knowing no one would here me. But here, hope is all I had. All I remember then is being dragged, into a cold room, in the dark mansion and thrown at the cold hard wall and landing on the ground. Blood dripped down my face and then it all blacked out.
