I've always wondered what my neighbors were like. Having lived your entire life unable to see, your remaining senses because sharper. When I was younger, I didn't notice it. The crashes, the crying, the yelling. But now it seems it's all I hear. Sometimes I tell myself it's nothing, but who am I kidding. The girl next door gets beaten day and night. If only I could see her, help her. Is she bruised? Does she have scars? I have so many questions. Guess that's all I can do, being the Blind Boy

Mother. Father. Sister. Brother. They all hate me. Worthless. Bitch. Whore. Repulsive. That's my name to them. Invisible. Nothing. Play thing. Punching Bag. That's who I am. And then there is him. The tall boy who lives next door. He just sits there, listening to me being beaten, raped. Does he not care? Is his heart as black as those who do this to me? I have so many questions.
