Grace Boyd was better off on her own. She had school, dance practice and work. On top of that, she had to take care of her handicapped mother. She didn't have time for involving others into her life.

As well as Derek Ryan. He was already alone as it is. He came off as strange and unfamiliar with his black hoodie masking his always beaten up face. No one speaks to him. Not even his brothers; the only two people that mean anything to him in the cruel world.

Both hardworking teenagers that live a difficult life. The story revolves around them. They meet and fulfill that spot they never knew needed to be filled.

When the genuine boxer meets the brave ballerina.

The world has chewed up and spit out Eleanor Robinson again and again. It began with her parents, one taken by a tragedy, one addicted to horrific drugs, and a brother who's too boozed out to know if she's alive or dead. Alone in the world, Ellie isn't exactly sure of how life works, of how anything works, really. The only two people she has that even remotely understand are Sebastian and Scarlett, a pair of siblings that remind her so much of her own family, it's hard to be around them sometimes. When the trio finally move in together after being friends for almost three years, they end up closer than ever. But the move brings along another problem into Ellie's life. Cole Everett is a fighter. From the moment he was cast aside by his family, he's had to fight for scraps at the orphanage dinner table, fight for a spot in the light of his foster family's eyes, and fight for the love of his adoptive parents. It seemed like he never won when it came to personal battles, but in the ring... In the ring, he owned the world. Years and years of the world kicking Cole's ass has shaped him into the fighter Ellie and everyone else sees him as. But the world has also shaped Ellie, and the sweet, heavy-hearted girl paints on a façade that seems only Cole can break through. As the pair attempt to navigate a decent enough relationship to be in the same room as one another without going for the throat, the people around them float between blurred lines of friend or foe. Hearts clash, past enemies arise, and the pair's hearts hang in the balance of it all.

*WARNING: RATED MATURE DUE TO LANGUAGE/SEXUAL CONTENT. READERS MUST BE 17+* *CANNOT be read without reading prior novels in series* Asher Pryce hides behind a wall of secrets he's spent most of his life building up. How else is the adopted child whose birth parents run a drug cartel supposed to fit in? He's notorious for his overconfident swagger and total lack of patience for bullshit - a master of masks. The one thing in his life he can't fake? His feelings for his best friend's twin sister. When she returns back home after eight years of living in another city, Asher is ready to take their lifelong friendship to another level. Of course, life has rarely worked in his favour. Between the letters his birth parents keep sending him, a run-in with an old enemy that's out for his blood, and his responsibility to protect his adoptive parents from his fucked up birth family, he would only be putting the woman he loves in danger. He may make his living as a fighter but this is one fight he's destined to lose. Right? Aria Hunter has gotten pretty good at faking it until you make it. After getting through an abusive relationship and fleeing to another city Aria is ready to return home years later. Everything has changed, including her relationship with her best friend. There's a constant magnetic pull between them and Aria feels their intense chemistry with every touch and look Asher steals from her. Gone is the once scrawny and irritable ten-year-old boy replaced by a cocky and assertive man that's way too hard to resist. But his looks aren't the only thing that changed about him. When Asher finds himself part of his birth parent's crowd once again, Aria knows this only means trouble. The more she fights to keep him safe, the harder it is to hide how she feels about him. Maybe their feelings for each other just aren't meant to be realized. After all, falling for your best friend is just a cliché. Right? All rights reserved to TheFeveredBookaholic.

She must feel my presence because she turns around to me so I hold up my knife and run at her. "ARCHIE STOP!" she says as I pin her into the hard brick wall. I hold my knife up higher and tears stream down her face. "Archie you don't have to do this! You're better than this! This doesn't help you grieve" I look at her begging self. "Give me a reason as to why I shouldn't kill you right here and now? Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill Carter and Maddie" I growl. Her lip quivers. "Because I know you're better than this! I see the good in you, Archie... I know this isn't you. I know you're grieving, but Archie... it's time to move on" I look at the ground, still pinning her. - Katie Grace Archer. Archer.
