Agardess made the name for herself as Middle-Earth's greatest assassin. She was cold hearted and quiet, never one for saying anything. She was never one for fate and always decided for herself when it was time for change. And so she chose when she was to die. However on her march to death she finds herself trapped in a adventure for dwarves and attracting the attention of the prince. Agardess finds her fate falling from under her and in order to save her own life she pledges allegiance to the prince. She began to follow him everywhere, never speaking, just ensuring the safety of the prince. This earned her the nickname "Shadow". She felt no loyalty to the King of Mirkwood, only to the prince whom she insisted on calling my Lord. Although she no longer felt the wish to die, she found herself following the prince everywhere causing her to get brought into messes she wouldn't of been able to get into on her own. She was proud to say the Fellowship was one of them. However on the journey she finds herself becoming someone different, someone who smiles and laughs and cries. And a person who once thought they could not love, learns how, with a little help from a certain elf.

In the heart of the cursed Mirkwood Forest, Legolas, the prince of the woodland realm, is haunted by an inexplicable feeling of being watched. Unbeknownst to him, his every move is shadowed by a female elf (I am not going to reveal the name), the enigmatic and fiercely skilled general of the Mirkwood army, who has vowed to protect her prince and her king - Thranduil. Legolas, however, remains unaware of her presence. Every midnight, she cloaks herself in secrecy and ventures out to meet him, masking her identity. Under the cover of darkness, she observes him carefully. Amidst the looming threats of darkness creeping into Mirkwood, the unlikely bond between Legolas and the general becomes both a source of strength and vulnerability. When news of the One Ring's existence and its devastating power reaches the woodland realm, Legolas, along with a fellowship of brave companions, embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth from the clutches of darkness. In a tale of hidden identities, midnight meetings, and unspoken emotions, "Shadows of Mirkwood" explores the profound connection between two souls destined to protect their realm and, in the process, find solace in each other's arms. As they face the ultimate quest to destroy the Ring, their love becomes a beacon of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Will their love withstand the challenges of secrecy, duty, and the temptation of the Ring, or will the shadows that brought them together also tear them apart?

"You make no sense, lass. You look like an Elf, talk like a Man, eat like a Hobbit, curse like a Dwarf, and sleep like the Dead." Every Tolkien fan has a "Tenth Walker" in them - but Eleanor Dace hasn't read a word of Tolkien since she was thirteen and was still fantasising about adventuring in other worlds. Now she's twenty-two, a third year English Literature student about to graduate from college; when she discovers that her teenage fantasy just got a bit too realistic for her liking. Now she's trapped in Arda, a world she has little idea how to survive in, trying to recover a missing set of memories that might help get her home. Or they might just make things go from merely life-threateningly bad; to apocalyptically worse. With little more than her hazy recall of the Lord of the Rings trilogy to draw on, (and a sarcastic second personality giving cryptic advice in her head) Eleanor begins to realise that there is something sinister going on in Middle Earth besides the return of the One Ring. Something more than just mere coincidence brought her here, and only remembering what it is will get her home again. Oh, and in case things weren't complicated enough already - her ears just got a whole lot more pointy. [A Lord of the Rings Story] [Rated for language]
