Imagine if you could sync your body up with a videogame. Imagine journeying into a different world everyday. Imagine experiencing a real battle without putting one foot out of your front door. Well you don't have to imagine, because for Finnegan Fairchild, its all real. The X-Realm is nothing to joke about. It is a minefield full of dangerous traps and people out to get you. Every time you make a kill in the X-Realm you earn points in real life, points that get you food, and a roof over your head. If you become good enough, you get invited to the X-games. The catch? Limbo. Every death in the X-Realm takes a toll on your body. You feel exactly the same pain you would in real life, which makes playing, extremely dangerous. The chemicals and equipment used to transport you are highly addictive and can have a detrimental effect on your body. If you don't have enough strength to Re-Spawn you get trapped in limbo, forever.
