Martha Black is a 1700's American woman. She lives in poverty with the rest of her city in Boston. The Boston Tea Party had just happened and little do they know its nearing war time. Martha's family falls deeper and deeper into poverty. Martha's brothers work dawn to dusk for even a penny. Life couldn't be harder for The Black family. The Revolutionary War is on its way and the citizens of Boston are fighting for their right to be independent. Martha heard men who go into the revolutionary war get money for provide for families while they're away, and off to war she goes. Will she make it out alive and unscathed?
