Many years ago, President Fredric Rich needed a weapon to use in the Great War. they soon discovered exactly what they needed. The one thing everyone feared. Wolves! They were fast, cunning, and could rip people apart within seconds. A young scientist by the name of Victor Wall, came up with a clever plan. Over the many months following the incident, Victor and Ayano plotted to turn other humans into a shifter, like themselves. At night, they would hunt strong Independent humans, who would survive the transformation. It was harder for the women. Some died others lived. Victor and Ayano changed people one by one until they had thousands like them. Victor and Ayano had power over them. However, they soon started to die off. So Victor decided to select a male alpha and give them a pack of shifters to look after and protect like their own family. Victor spread the packs all over the United States. Each pack had a license of owning their territory, and was very protective of what was theirs. Even then Victor still had control; it wasn't enough for him. He wanted more. Word got out to humans about shifters, and they were not pleased. Some humans started organizations to kill them. They were called the hunters. They started killing off some of Victor's packs. Victor needed another route as well. So he called the two strongest Alphas to his palace; Thomas Wall and Eric Johnson. Victor made an agreement with them, stating that their own children would be the new generation of shifters, and when Victor passes away they would take over. Even today, Victor still rules over the shifters. The war had been won, and for once, the shifters were blending in and living among the humans. As the years passed and each generation was born, the shifters learned to control their abilities. But, now that Victor has fallen ill, it's time for Thomas and Eric's kids to take that next step. Marriage!

17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat. I quickly strip down to only my sports braw and shorts, when and excrutiating paing takes over my body and I fall to the ground. My legs were the first to change. The bones snap and change shape for the first time. I scream out in pain as hair starts to grown eerywhere. The rest of my body is snapping and changing shape. My arms were the next to change... I seriously felt like dying. The pain of every first change is unbearable. Thankfully it all soon stops and I am standing on all fours. I walk towards the lake noticing that the ducks that used to be there were long gone. I must have scared them. I went to look at my refelction for the first time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Adria Walker just turned 17. On her birthday she turned into her wolf. Only to be transferred along with her family to a new pack called Silver Crest. Only to find out on her first day at school that her mate is the possessive over protective player of an Alpha.
