A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. Their lifespans tripled and they expanded their civilization amongst the stars and to other planets. This was known as the Golden Age until an ancient evil known as the Darkness that hunted the Traveler finally found it in our solar system. Everything was destroyed and this was known as the Collapse. Humanity would've become extinct if the Traveler hadn't of sacrificed itself, pushing back the Darkness with its Light. And with the last of the Traveler's strength, it created Ghosts, little mechanical beings to search for deceased people who are capable of wielding the Light as a weapon. Ghosts resurrect these people from the dead and they protect what's left of humanity with their powers. These people are known as Guardians. This story is told from a Ghost's point of view who's Guardian is a trigger happy Hunter. Her Light is strong but her soul defiant. Forged in the Light yet desired by the Darkness. But when she comes face to face with her destiny, will she make the right choice or be swallowed by fate? Liar, killer, murderer.. or a savior? --- This story is the first year of the protagonist's new life within the Unruly Light saga. •Contains graphic gore, lots of cussing, and sexual interactions.Concluída
