When Charlie's estranged daughter Bella moves in with him after his ex-wife remarries, he thinks the most he'll have to worry about is raising the teenager he barely knows. When Bella begins acting strangely Charlie assumes it's just growing pains but slowly realizes that his daughter is caught in the clutches of a powerful vampire intent on transforming her into a creature of the undead.
