It's 1976, and the Wizarding World is changing in the blink of an eye.
Finally free from silence, Lark Riddle doesn't know what to do with herself. Her older brother, Tom, is breathing down her neck from hundreds of miles away every moment, and she just might snap under the pressure. With a mother who birthed her into the worst-case-scenario and a father who has yet to be discovered, she feels as though there's no longer a net to fall into if she crumbles to the ground...because she's never felt love, and has a sneaking suspicion that she may be unable to. She's left her old friends, Severus Snape and the notorious Black sisters in her wake, and has yet to move on to bigger, brighter prospects: the Marauders.
Sirius Black has more than enough on his shoulders. While he makes every move he can to stay away from his psychotic ex-family and their allies, rumor has it that there's a war on, and he'll be playing a bigger part in it than he expected. Though this talk of fighting and standing up for what's right is all so thrilling, he has a life, a reputation, and an education to uphold (and all three seem to be plummeting to certain doom at terminal velocity). Lark knows what it's like: feeling alone and living in a world of darkness where the only light is the hope that she can provide for herself, whether it's real or not, and chances are that she may be the only person who will ever make him feel the way that he does when he's around her.

A Marauder's Guide to Falling Apart
"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. He moved inwards, his lips pulling from her fingertips to hover near her ear. "I'm a thoughtful person." * After getting accepted into the Healer training program and moving to London, Marlene begins her life outside of Hogwarts. Despite the looming dangers of war, she has a pretty decent life; she has friends who care about her, a boyfriend who loves her, and the determination to keep fighting for a life worth living. But it doesn't take long for Marlene to begin questioning her choices. As the world is falling apart around her, so are her relationships and any certainty that she once had. Except for Sirius; the only certainty she has left in the world. However, war only seems to be threatening to tear them apart. She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time. Here I bring to you, native and non-native English speakers, the English transcription of Marauder!Crack by Irati, a fanfiction that revolutionized the fanfiction world of Harry Potter, more concretely the Marauder's Era in Hispanoamerica. I am not, in any possible way, saying this is from my authorship, because it is NOT, and it's my holiday proyect to spread this excellent fanfiction to you, so you can enjoy it as much as I and so many other people did. This is something like a myth: we do not have trazable records of who Irati actually is. She/He/It wrote this in a period of time between 2004-2008, in a LiveJournal that is no longer available for everyone. Eventhough, people since then have been spreading pdf's with transcriptions of the publications of the LiveJournal (extremely difficult to find if you ask me) with the mere intention to keep this story alive, because is extremely well written and with an astonishing profundity of the characters that you may not seen in many fanfictions. So I say that again, never seen any translations of it, and as I am a passionate of English Literature and Law, I bring this to you to expread the story for your enjoyment and help (and force) myself to practice my English. Not an English speaker as you presume, so squeeze me for any misconceptions, I do know many of you would do this job far better than me, as so anything that improves my narrative skills and knowledge will be highly accepted and very well received.
