In April of 2009, I wrote a very short story. Early on, I had a fear of sharing it as it was unlike anything else I had ever written before then. It was as if this was something that goes against my nature. I am an easy going guy. I like to enjoy life as much as possible and I am in no way a violent or aggressive person.

A few months after having written this story ... TORTURE ... I did share it and to say the least I was very surprised by the response I got from having shared it. So many people were asking me as to if there were more to this story or telling me that if there were no more then there should be.

I got to thinking and thought that it could be quite interesting to explore the idea some more, so I did. What was just about one thousand words or so grew to over seven and a half thousand words and the story continued to get a good response, even to the point that an editor of a U.S magazine wanted to use the story for publication.

I am more than happy now that I did write this story and go on to lengthen it too. It also inspired me to write another story of an aggressive nature. So if you have written something that you are unsure as to how to feel about, then go and put it out there, for who knows as to what may come from it?
