"I don't see how that is a good reason." Emalee says to Sirius, rolling her eyes and walking away. He followed, of course, he's a very persistent person and he womt take no for a damn answer.
"Well, it makes perfect sense to me." Sirius defends himself, shrugging. Emalee looked at him for a minute then shook her head, rubbing her temple.
"Go away, you bloody git of a boy. " She turns to the classroom door and walls in haste to get away from the conceited prick standing outside of the classroom, paralised with shock."
Sirius doesn't get turned down much. And he won't be denied by Emalee forever. Everyone comes around at some point, right?
A/N: just an excerpt that i plan on putting in the story later on.
Every chapter up until 5th or 6th year will summarize one year. Then after that a summer and then the next year.

In which, Remus Lupin is a fresh-faced wallflower just out of college, supporting his community in miniature efforts, as to not get noticed. Sirius Black, maybe not as fresh-faced but still just out of college, is, let's say, a little bolder. He's happy to be noticed - even happier when it's the freckled boy that hides in the library. Harry and Jenny kept yelling at her that Voldemort had returned, and both of them got detentions which made James very angry, until Harry said something harsh. "Oh, so Cedric Diggory just dropped dead of his own accord, then, did he?" He snarled. I growled and clenched my fists together tightly. Umbridge turned cold and heartless, and she said, "Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident." "Like your life!" James hissed, standing up and storming away from the classroom. There was a loud silence. "Detention!" Umbridge called after him, trying to preserve herself. "Voldemort killed him and you know it." Harry stomped up to Umbridge's desk and they exchanged something before Harry left the room. I got up too, "If this is the way you're teaching, I'd rather have been notified so I could stay at home with my m-" I caught myself, "People." I hissed and not-so-gracefully made my way out of the room and after James. Tom Riddle, a Half-blood Parselmouth entering his first year in Hogwarts filled with curiosity and wonder, but most of all hatred for everyone. Mistreated by muggles and looked down upon by his own kind because of blood status 'I will be better and leave them all in the dust, and so his quest for knowledge and power began.
