This is the story of Adriane Branwell, she meets Jace and Clary after the Institute she was living at was invaded by Sebastian's army of dark Shadowhunters. This story picks up in the break between "City of Lost Souls" and "City of Heavenly Fire." ** I would like to let you know that I started reading The Infernal Devices series after I had already started writing this story, so Adriane has no relation to Tessa and nor is she based off of her.
