Somewhere on the eastern boarder of Equestria, there lies the nation-state of Kirikara. Kirikara is home to the kirin, a pony-dragon hybrid race thought to be merely a myth. After their land was invaded by the vile western dragons, the kirin went into hiding, and soon isolated themselves from the rest of Equestria with an enormous wall. Ever since, the kirin have maintained a defensive state, always training new warriors, only leaving Kirikara or letting in outsiders in times of extreme circumstances. On this day, one of those times would come.
