There's this unusual group in school full of unusual kids. Well, particularly kids with colored skin. And everyone in that group has their own share on a screwed up life with their own little twist, from mild verbal abuse to seeing black and blue in the mirror.

They all have problems in life ranging from little bumps in the road to that same road morphing into a jagged trail that leads off the edge of a quite tall, very sharp cliff. They all have different ways of trying to find solutions to all those problems.

Solutions... which may or may not work sometimes.

But everyone also has a taste of euphoria and relief there. They're each other's home, warm and welcoming, closed off and isolated from the rest of this shitty world. Finding refuge in each other when they've spent just a little too much time with their heads in the clouds, and in return got slapped by this belligerent nightmare called reality back down to Earth.

It's about time now that the story of this unusual group is told, full of unusual friends, and their skin painted with colors even imagination is oblivious to.
