Aside from fighting the bad guys' army, Percy and Nico also have to deal with nosy campers *cough* Annabeth *cough* trying to look under their hoods, stalking them, and generally not minding their own business. Gaia was appalled at the gift and added the gift of light and earth. Nyx was afraid of what her children would be. After their birth, she noticed they were each gifted and very different. She named them Drake, Luke, and Helen. They grew to be stronger than any other human, with unique gifts and powers. When they reached adulthood, Nyx and Aether grow worried over their children's lack of control and lust for bloodshed. They needed to figure out a way to calm their beasts. Themis came to them and made a suggestion, being the goddess of animal instinct, she told them that mating would calm them.
