So in my writing class my teacher had my class do a pre-write before we read the short story "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury (kudos to him just saying). This is just what I was able to write in a page worth of paper and it was timed so it might not be too great, but I would love you guys to read and vote for it!

This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.Complete
Insatiable (UNDERGOING REWRITES)
"You tease me too much," I muttered, licking a path up to his ear before nipping at him. "Standing up here at the front of the class, strutting around with your perky ass. And I know you're wearing those goddamn tight panties. I can see the outline of them underneath your pants." To prove my point, I dipped a finger down the back of his pants, tugging at the lace that lay beneath it. Julian moaned lowly, his breath starting to come out in airy pants. He pushed back against my hand and forward against my chest lightly and I complied, moving so he could stare up at me as he gripped my hair between his slender fingers. "What should I do about your teasing, professor?" I drawled before the smaller man smirked. ~ Nolan Daniels loves college. Not for the school part of it, no. Riley Peterson is offered an amazing job opportunity which she grabs with both hands. My Summer of Writing and Stuff
The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. Megan attends college at Clemson University and she has a boyfriend, Christian, that she has been with since high school. She has the great best friend, nice apartment and car and she's a year away from her degree, but something just feels missing. Megan doesn't hate her life by any means... She's just gotten sort of bored with it, always feeling like there's something else she needs... Until she meets... Noah. She never expected to meet someone like him much less feel the sparks that ignite as soon as they meet eyes.... Can she just ignore feelings like that? Feelings she never felt before, not even from her own boyfriend. Noah won't be able to resist though, he has to do something about it... about her. When she turned back to look at me she had a look in her eyes that while I didn't know what it meant was still incredibly sexy. "Damn that's too bad... because I have been thinking about you naked since I ran into you this morning." She said confidently standing up and walking past me towards the house but not before brushing her hand across my leg. I watched her in awe as she walked back inside swinging her hips making my eyes go straight towards her ass. I sat there for a few minutes confused but extremely turned on... "So what's your type?" "What do you mean?" I pause, looking up from my book to meet the eyes of my dear friend. "Type of what?" She shakes her head with a chuckle. Her head then jerks to her boyfriend, busy trying to figure out a solution in his work. "What type of guy do you like?" "I don't really have one." I reply. "Come on, there must be something a guy does that catches your attention." My eyes casually glance around the courtyard, trying to figure out a quick response to her question. But then I hear a voice speak just to the right of us, Professor Abel happily talking to Mr. Levine. "Well?" "Older." I mumble. "Someone older." "Just older?" His deep grey eyes soften slightly in the sunlight. "Someone... colder too." "So you want someone as bad as Professor Abel?" My friend jokes poking my side with her fingers. I snap my head back to her, surprised at her question. To brush off the embarrassment I shrug my shoulders, faking a smile but my heart is pounding furiously. "Haha, very funny." It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip. "My type."
