Julia is just a nobody from a small town,or so her mom tells her. Sometimes she wishes people would notice her, but then she tells herself she isnt worth noticing it and accepts it. What happens though when her teacher, Mr.Klodak finally notices her. Slowly she starts to reveal her secrets to him. All of the abuse. She begs him not to tell anyone, but he doesn't know what to do. Just as she start to reveal this news, she finds out that she has stage four, lung cancer. You can't forget about Mr.Klodak's son Justin. Julia doesn't know if she will make it through and everyday she prays, "One more breath Lord, one more breath."
