Tori died.
She was shot in the head and bled out. The worst part is that she died three years ago, and now she's back. Except she isn't herself and her body is gone as is her mixed feelings. She has a new everything, she doesn't even know who she is and waking up in a hospital bed helps a whole ton. Not, she only knows her name because it's the first thing her new mom said when she awoke.
She doesn't remember a whole lot of the other world besides the simple truth. But not of the matter a price comes with coming back, your guardian angel and another person's wisdom.
