After accidentally knocking Death down the stairs, Katerina enters a partnership she never predicted.  Leading the reaper with song, she helps him collect the souls of the dead to lead them to their rest.

Barry, a physicist and lover of song crosses paths with Death at a young age and seeks to understand the song he heard as his mother lay dying.  

As the two commune with Death, they face a more fearful demon than Death itself, and they'll need all the help they can get to stop him.
