Life seems to hand Gracie one bad deal after the other, and she knows things will only worsen before they get better. After escaping a few nasty situations, she finds herself in the care of the Tucker family, and they show her what that life can be more than just surviving. Trigger warnings for the following: Self harm Suicidal ideation and references to suicide SA/R*pe Abuse and violence Toxic relationships The Tucker Family is inspired by the fosters and so are some of the story points, I'm obsessed with that show and always imagined other types of characters in that world/family. Each chapter is named after a Taylor Swift song and there are other Taylor Swift-related references throughout, find them all for a prize! They always say that your family will always love you no matter what. I think it's a lie. Sometimes life is a Lie. Everyone has been told "I hate you." From someone they love. For others it's a constant thing. All because of an accident. When they are hurting they can't accept the fact that it was their fault or no ones fault at all. They find someone to blame hoping that they won't blame themselves. They hold a grudge on that person for the rest of their life maybe. It's how family falls apart. That's how mine fell apart. It's the reason for everything It's good to cherish your life everyday. Cause one day it's all going vanish from your sight and you won't even be able to remember the good times. Same with people. You have to know when to cherish them. We get broken easily. I learned that the hard way. Some people walk into your life as a mistake. Most stay while others leave. They all leave. People change. But others are willing to change you for your benefit. What if it helps? Would you trust them then? Gracie had been in an adoption centre for years, and she believes no-one will ever love her again and doesn't know if she can ever love anyone else. Chloe is a 19 year old girl, with brown hair, brown eyes & a very slim figure. She is adopted. Her parents are rich & she has two siblings. She has always had a passion for music but her parents reckon it's not an actual job. She just finished school a year ago & has 3 casual jobs. She also works at a kids suicide centre. Chloe is a girl who is very selfless & always puts everyone & their needs before her own. She hasn't had the easiest life though. She tried to commit suicide when she was younger. This lead her to finding her true family. Chloe found her cousins, aunty & uncle. She has just gone through a nasty break up with her ex boyfriend who cheated on her with her ex best friend. Finally she leaves & sets off with her cousin to fulfil her dreams. Chloe bumps into a guy that changes her world. The problem is will her cousin except him & let them be together? What will happen when her cousin drops a bombshell on her? What will happen to him when he finds out the news himself?

Georgie Lux is a nine year old little girl. She once was an innocent girl but it was all stripped from her. She lived in a bad neighborhood with abusive parents until she was four years old. Her father was a rapist and abuser. He raped and abused her and her mother and would beat them senseless. Somehow, he was caught by the police. With her father gone, even though he was trash, her mother felt lost. She turned to alcohol for help. Slowly degressing from a protective mother, she became abusive as well. Again, somehow, the police miraculously showed up and took her away as well. Now she's in an orphanage and has shut everybody out, until one of the biggest boy bands in the world, One Direction, come looking for a little girl to call their own. Will she learn to love again or will she continue to shut them out as well?
