Fate or Not?
This is my take on ShikaTema. Temari moves to Konoha and is trying to find her place in new city she calls home. She is encountered with many inexplicable situations. Does fate have to do anything with this or is it irrelevant? This is a romance filled with comedy. The story is set 2 years after the war and their years are unchanged (Temari is 22, Shikamaru and Konoha's twelve are 19). Neji is alive in this one. As their relationship develops, Ino finds herself jeopardizing her most cherished bond, grappling with a mix of regret and jealousy. Side note: While the early chapters stay true to the original Naruto universe, but after chapter 19, it will no longer be as canon to the Naruto universe because I don't need the buildup from stuff like the chunin exams. Although I am not able to find the original post itself, so if any of you know, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. I decided to write this story because I could never find a Shikamaru x Ino fanfic that truly resonated with me. While I do ship Temari and Shikamaru, as well as Sai and Ino more, I found it frustrating that there weren't any compelling fanfics featuring this pairing. So, I took matters into my own hands and created my own! This is my first time even writing a fanfiction so if you see any errors, I am so sorry and please let me know so I can fix them. Feel free to give me your criticism so I know how to be better in the future. Also: If a sequel is written, expect a mix of drama shake things up. (I'm not too sure if I'm going to keep it as Ino x Shikamaru but rather throw some sai x ino or temari x Shikamaru), but I'm not there yet so you'll see.
