Steve woke up in an empty grave with an ungodly howl. He knew he was successful. He had gotten rid of John and all the other witnesses, even Timmy. Timmy was his best friend, but he had to kill him. No one would keep his secret if they had seen the look in his dark red eyes (which looked black unless there was blood or really bright lights near Steve).
Steve strolled up the maze of his steps into his house and threw his clothes into the washer. After that he headed towards the shower.
