When you wake up in a forest without any memories what do you do? Of course being the clumsy person that I am I immediately find a way to trip my way down a hill where I meet a boy. Not just any boy. A really cute boy. I have to go to school and try my best to function without memories, but things are getting better as I'm making new ones. Or that's what I thought until school drama hits me like a blast of reality.
I'm an assassin working for King Robert III. I grew up on a farm in the outskirts of the kingdom of Kurenos. I was an infant abandoned on the streets. An old lady took me in until she passed away as I was five. I started my career early as a pick pocket on the busy streets of the marketplace, only approaching those who seemed wealthy enough to not be affected by their missing valuables. One day as I was eight years old I unknowingly stole from a retired knight. Seeing my talent and potential he took me in. He had taken in a couple of other orphaned children and was in the process of training them as assassins for the kingdom. I started to go on official missions at the age of thirteen. Now I'm sixteen, as a cover up I work part time at a bakery. Regarding my love life there is none but I might have a slight crush on my assassin partner...
I'm a newly graduated mad hatter. My world is created by stories so it is very fragile. When stories go away, pieces of my world go away too. So we try our best to keep up these stories. We're literally working for our lives. But I try not to think about the negatives. My world is actually really fun and but don't trust anyone or anything. One moment there could me a solid table in front of you but the next it could evaporate into a wisp of smoke. That's cause my world is created by imagination so nothing is really solid. This is the story of my life. By the way the queens of hearts, yes there are several of them, are actually really nice unlike how the stories normally portray them.

Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world. Finding it Ironic that dying was the catalyst to him realizing he had lived his life all wrong. Surprisingly though he found himself in a place that was unrecognizable. He could never have imagined that this was only the start of what he now sees as a second chance. Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end.
