Eve

In a world where humanity had been evolving at a rapid pace, everything seemed to be fine. Animals and humans alike prospered, plant life flourished, nothing missing at first glance, the world seemed almost perfect. Almost.

The gods that kept watch over humanity from within Elysium grew displeased, for they demanded worship, yet they weren't receiving it. Humanity was too busy worshiping themselves, there was no time to give praise when they were busy progressing. Depressed and angry, the gods rescinded their kindness and released the wrath of Hades upon the earth.

Many things were destroyed, lives lost, memorabilias of humanity's greatness reduced to naught but ashes. But with the death, the poverty, the cruelty that spawned as a result, the gods were plagued with regret, there was but one way to fix it. Even with their regret, pride kept them from doing the dirty work for the humans, so instead, angels were sent to Earth in order to use chosen humans as vessels to fight against the wickedness of Hades.

But it wouldn't be so easy, with the death toll rising, Hades was rapidly becoming more and more powerful, perhaps after long enough he'd be powerful enough to take over Elysium. This was a problem that the gods hadn't taken into account, as a result one of the Archangels was sent to Earth, but all that power could not be contained to be rifted at once. The Archangel, Eve's power had to be diminished so that she could safely be transported to a vessel.

As stars shine bright in the sky, chosen vessels all around the world received their power, their body becoming vessels for the might of the angels. The brightest star of all, that of Eve's, her light shines upon a teenager named Ayzen and there the story begins..
