Polaris is an experiment that went wrong, now he is a very lethal weapon that can destroy mankind, and now the government is in the search to kill him. Can he find the help he needs to be a regular teenage boy with the help of a social outcast?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Polaris is a sixteen-year-old adopted teenager, but his parents aren't the sweet and loving kind of parents that would bake cookies and play a game of catch. His parents are scientists who love to experiment with their son. Due to the hundreds of experiments, Polaris now has the power that can freeze anything with a touch of his finger. Not only does he have to deal with this, but he also needs to control his temper, or else he can put the whole country into an icicle.
Adena has been alone for as long as she can remember due to her lack of social skills. While her classmates hang out at parties, she is working at her father's convenience store, stacking shelves with canned food. On a walk home from a day at school, she collides with a mysterious boy with striking blue eyes and a pale face.
In a school for super powered, supernatural students one doesn't fit in. She comes from the most prestigious family well known for their superpowers, yet Winter Mangalow is just a normal girl. Her family all keep telling her that one day her powers would shine through, but now at the age of seventeen almost eighteen she no longer believes them. Her school life is hell with everyone looking down on her because of her lack of powers. With her Dad being Principal though it meant she couldn't even attend a different school. Both the ban of her existence and the only joy in her day is one Caspian Anderson, the most powerful student in the school. When at school he acts like the biggest, most arrogant jerk she had ever known. But Winter has a secret, she knows Caspian very well. He may not acknowledge her at school but every afternoon he was all hers. He was the best friend that any girl could wish for. He was sweet, kind and funny. He never let the fact she had no powers bother him then at all. With the arrival of Zeke Worthington her life became in disarray. He understood her; he knew what it felt like to be the outsider. He told her he had come from a place where he was misunderstood too. Zeke seemed immensely happy to meet Winter, even though he befriended Caspian too. Why Caspian had a problem with it, Winter doesn't understand. It wasn't like he went out of his way to be friends with her during school hours. Even as Winter and Zeke get closer, Caspian becomes increasingly unhappy and agitated with her. She can't change things though, after all in the long run all she can prove is that she has no powers, but maybe she will be surprised.
They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.
Jasper is 17 years old and the worst thing he's ever dealt with in his life was a move from California to Arizona and the death of grandparents he never knew. That is, until his hair turns white and he suddenly has the strange ability to freeze the things around him. That's just the beginning of his descent into a life of confusion and darkness. And to top off his sudden switch into Jack Frost's body, he now has to live with the most hostile person he's ever known and learn to control his icy abilities...
