(Author's Note: Oh my god. Thank you everyone who has read this. I wrote this back when i was 15! I'm currently 21. Coming back to this and seeing all the comments brought a smile to my face! Dace was just an average boy, having an average life, average family, average...everything. He got up in the morning, ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then went to sleep. He had homework, the usual drama at school, a best friend and an enemy. He wants to grow up, fall in love, and have a family of his own.

Dace thinks that Rath is just a dream and dosent talk much about it. What he dosen't know is that Rath is a lot more importent in this mysterious dark society and what Rath wants, Rath gets. But things dont always go as planed...especially when the problem is Kaine.
Kaine wants Dace...and wont give him up to any bloodsucker. Dace and Kaine have known each other for as long as Dace could remember. Kaine protected and saved Dace when he was bullied. They've been together ever since.
Then there's Loki, the boy who hunts him...and his heart. The mysterious Loki somehow knows Dace from somewhere, But where could they have met each other, if they both grew up in different worlds. Loki in a world of fake smiles and hidden masks, and Dace with his kind family and real parents that left him.
What is Dace suppose to do to go back to his normal non magical life...to fall in love with a normal girl...hang out with his normal friends...and live his normal life...
but question is..does he really want that?
