Great Waves' Relenting [WIP]

Before the third millennia had begun, way back in Endith civilization,. In the years before the land had been abandoned by the holy beasts and gods, and the mysterious Avediajo had yet to fade into obscurity. There arose from the world four mighty warriors. Each one a master of the four great elements:

Lady Aggio of the Sea

Lady Lorath of the Flame

Lord Cirrus of the Sky

and Lord Torra of the Stone

Each Endean was chosen to tame the unyielding monsters of nature. They were once the champions of Endith, and I - their patron. I gifted to them a path to glory, and in turn they became glorious.

The mortal tyrants seduced my greater gods have tarnished my children's name alas, greed and frightened men's rumors made them turn away in horror. In their slumber, men forged bonds with Gods opposed to my ways and they spoke to them the secret of how to defeat my champions. In the dead of night, my warriors were assassinated. It was a terrible time.

But the gift of a god is not easily dissolved, while the forces themselves had their own autonomy - the bonds that held them still existed. Every 100 years, four souls are selected and bound by that same magic and their powers formed. The rulers of this country think themselves smart, weaving a terrible tale of my children as seen through the venerable eyes of shivering kings and blasphemous priests. It is this grisly tale of death and disaster meant to strike fear into the future generation. They now even make laws requiring each citizen extinguish the threat before it can fully manifest. I have done what I can go save the generations before you, but my power has been shattered and contained in relics of the past. It is fate which rescues you now. Disaster is coming, and only the warriors I have made remain as a defense against it. Siall, find your comrades. Find them, and together you all will change the way history looks upon your power.
