Every human being has fears, it's what makes them human essentially.
Most people can deal with those fears, push them to the side, and forget about them until another day.
Some people have the courage to face their fears and others don't.
Lily Marteenez is one of the ones who doesn't.
No matter how much she is plagued or punished by those fears, she will not face them, she instead lets them have that hold over her.
Roman Evans is a guy who is in no way fearless, but just doesn't seem to care about such trivial things.
In that respect, they're polar opposites, the two of them. So when they end up having to live in the same house for a year, things take some weird turns.
One day, he proposes a bet, a bet that could change a lot of things where Lily was concerned.
So, with rather a lot to gain, and not that much to lose she, stupidly some may say, agree to the bet because at the time she had probably consumed way to much alcohol so rational decisions where clearly something she should not have been making.
At first it was just a bet, a game really but eventually it became a fight, with herself and her fears.
Will she win or will she lose?
[IMPORTANT]
So this story, you'll realize has the same name and cover as one of my other books this is because they are essentially the same story.
After thinking long and hard and looking back at the previous version, I decided the best thing for this story was a fresh start. Rather than me rehashing and re-working 16 chapters, I'm going to re work the whole thing by completely re writing it.
This story will have the same base plot and some characters will be the same, the rest, including some names, will be completely changed.
I've planned out exactly where this story is going and when is going to do it so I am hoping this time around it'll be even better than before.
I do hope you'll enjoy this new version just as much as the old one, if you even liked the old one.
Thank you :)
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
