[*Currently workshopping - feel free to leave comments*] Mina Moore is not a main character sort of girl. In fact, her life kind of depends on her ability to fade into the background.
You see, Mina has a secret. She sees dead people.
Well, not actual dead people as far as she can tell. Just your basic, run-of-the-mill hallucinations that look like dead people.
They are always present. Always wretched. Whispering secrets, conjuring horrors, and sowing tales of woe through her mind. It would be enough to drive most people mad. But Mina is not most people.
Rather than get locked up in the psych ward, she has decided to hide the fact that she regularly sees people who are not there. She feigns normalcy under the watchful gaze of her friends and family, and buries even deeper her other secret.
Because Mina's hallucinations are not a natural occurrence. They were cursed upon her by a witch. A witch who thinks she has the upper hand.
The curse was supposed to drive Mina mad, to make her insensible. But how was the witch to know that her curse wouldn't work out the way it was meant to? Why would she suspect that Mina has been biding her time, searching for her and plotting her revenge? Why would she fear the many buried secrets of an invisible little cursed girl?
Werewolves and vampires don't mix, or that's what Kieran Callisto, a seventeen-year-old vampire, has believed all his life - until he falls for the Alpha's son.
*****
When Kieran meets his new classmate, Mason Kane, he bristles with an unexplainable disdain. Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
